Default !!!!!!!!!!!!! The Official Buffalo Bills 2024 Thread !!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is ready for Buffalo to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory this year. I know I am.

I feel they could have easily made a few trades/free agent signings to help bolster their roster but I am eager to see what this team does the first game because I am up in the air with their offense and defense.

Will Keon Coleman step in and have an immediate impact?

Will Shakir and Kincaid take the next step and both have 1,000 yard seasons?

Will Frank Gore Jr. crack the active roster and see some meaningful playing time?

Should they have pulled the trigger and got creative getting another linebacker like an Ernest Jones since Milano can't stay healthy?

Will Von Miller still be a worthless shell of himself or will he have flashes of what he once was? Over/under 4 tackles?

I can see them going as high as 11-6 or missing the playoffs altogether at 8-9. The first few games are going to be very telling. They are in a pretty tough division and boast one of the toughest strength of schedules, especially when you factor in a healthy Aaron Rodgers led Jets squad.

Record 13-3
Week 1 Arizona Cardinals @ Buffalo Bills 28-34 W
Week 2 Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins 31-10 W
Week 3 Jacksonville Jaguars @ Buffalo Bills 10-47 W
Week 4 Buffalo Bills @ Baltimore Ravens 10-35 L
Week 5 Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans 20-23 L
Week 6 Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets 23-20 W
Week 7 Tennessee Titans @ Buffalo Bills 10-32 W
Week 8 Buffalo Bills @ Seattle Seahawks 31-10 W
Week 9 Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills 30-27 W
Weel 10 Buffalo Bills @ Indianapolis Colts 31-20 W
Week 11 Kansas City Chiefs @ Buffalo Bills 21-30 W
Week 12 Bye Week
Week 13 San Francisco 49ers @ Buffalo Bills 35-10 W
Week 14 Buffalo Bills @ Los Angeles Rams 42-44 L
Week 15 Buffalo Bills @ Detroit Lions 48-42 W
Week 16 New England Patriots @ Buffalo Bills 24-21 W
Week 17 New York Jets @ Buffalo Bills 14-40 W

Most importantly, the team just signed QB Mike White to the practice squad.

If not for Josh Allen, I think this would probably be the worst roster in the entire league

It's hard for me not to view this as a punt year unless they can produce some belichick-esque miraculous results with nonames on both sides of the ball

Curious which WR emerges as Allen’s favorite.

I have a 90s era-driven soft spot for the Bills but it feels like they could slip a bit this year. Hope I’m wrong.

Part of me is getting 2022-23 Chiefs vibes from the offense. Diggs goes and Allen is finally free to spread to ball around everywhere. If the o-line holds up, they can establish the run, Allen might have all the freedom to make plays that he wants.

The thing he'll have to avoid is turnovers. If you want to dink and dunk down field it's you can't be undermining yourself with turnovers.

Well he was just voted most overrated QB by his peers so I guess we will find out this year.

Shakir had the highest catch rate in the NFL and it wasn't even close. My money would be on him, but I hope Coleman plays a big role as well. I wouldn't mind an offense where they aren't stuck just throwing to one guy that way they are harder to game plan against. Also wouldn't mind seeing them pound the rock more too.

Expecting higher than average things from Shakir and Kincaid this year...

Tentatively have them finishing 9-8, MAYBE getting a Wild Card.
I think their best-case scenario is 11-6, but they always have 1-2 games that leave you scratching your head...

I just don't see them winning the division IF everyone stays healthy on the Dolphins and also the Jets...

Cardinals W
@ Dolphins L (short week)
Jags W
@ Ravens L
@ Texans L
@ Jets W
Titans W
@ Seahawks W
Dolphins W
@ Colts L
Chiefs L
BYE
Niners L
@ Rams W
@ Lions L
Patriots W
Jets L
@ Patriots W

I really think Bills will shock a lot of people and still win division. It's a huge year for Allen to step up

I really like Josh Allen. But, it just didn’t feel like they the Bills did much to improve the roster. Felt like the dolphins and Jets invested a bit more heavily. Going to be a close division race.

I agree with this assessment. Didn't seem like they did much at all. I think they are paying for some of those stupid contracts they handed out. Buffalo is a tricky team with Josh at QB and you never know what you're going to get with them. Getting rid of Diggs was a good start but paying that contract is rough, not replacing him at all could be a big problem or a nice surprise. We'll find out.

I'd have to especially with all those dead cap and losing not only WR1 but also WR2 and key pieces on defense (poyer, hyde, etc). I just feel like if Josh is the real deal, he will show it this year similar to Patty last year where he also doesn't have to force fed Diggs or he'll complain at the sideline. I really like the receiving team this year for whT it's worth. Shakir should be WR 1 and Curtis Samuel / Keon Coleman will handle the rest of it. I also like Kincaid as some kind of Kelce Lite (I'm absolutely huge on him moving forward, he's a stud and looks like a great guy). Overall, I'm pretty happy with the roster and even though this may not be the year for SB I like our chance moving forward compared to if we didnt bit the bullet and keep diggs

Josh is the real deal and he's already shown that he is, but there's only so much a QB can do with the roster they're given and the 2023 Chiefs were way more complete of a team than the 2024 Bills

You used way too many exclamation points. Due to that, I hope they get spanked by the Chiefs and Ravens

I’ve targeted more Shakir in fantasy as he’s a cheaper. I thought he was solid last year.

Who will Allen be throwing to? ... Who is Mack Hollins? ... Are they leaving the WR position up for grabs? ... TE Knox was decent ... RB Cook should be reliable ... Wonder how Gore Jr will do? ... not much depth on this team offensively speaking ... Defense is solid ... Or is the entire team going to be a house of cards ... Yikes ...

Cant argue with depth but we just have to hope no major injury happens as I'm sure all fanbase from all teams do. For WR I like Khalil as WR1 with Curtis Samuel and Keon contributing as well. I can also see Kincaid becomes Allen favorite target

I just had mine last night. Took Andrews over Kincaid half way through the fourth round after Kelce and LaPorta were taken. Not sure it was the right choice because it would be nice having a worthy starter from my favorite team. Also ended up snagging Coleman late right after Shakir.

Shakir should have a big year but it could just as easily be Kincaid seeing a boost in targets. At this points its a crap shoot who gets fed more or if its a game to game thing. All I know is they lost over 300 targets in players they let go so they have to go somewhere.

We shall see as the first week is almost here ... on the NFL website they ranked Hollins as a number one WR ... ... I see ESPN has Shakir as number one

Id be very surprised if Hollins sees regular time on the field, unless they are going 4 wide a lot...

Out the gate, Samuel is 1, Keon is 2, Shakir is 3/slot

Wouldn't be surprised if end of the year stats has Shakir at 1, Keon at 2 and Samuel at 3. With Kincaid somewhere in the 2'ish range...

Everything yesterday on talk radio was "I really hope Xavier Worthy doesn't have a great game tonight on national tv"

It's one game, but today is gonna be a fun listen, the sky is falling already and they haven't even played yet
