Need opinion please.

Hi guys,

I noticed that Kobe RC prices are going all over the place especially graded ones. I just want to ask what's your opinion or take. I have 1996/97 Kobe Topps @ NBA 50 Foil BGS 9.5 and being offered 2300usd. I have seen this card sells between 2K to 3.5K and fluctuations all over the place. What do you guys think? I'm ok with the offer and not really excited. I'm just wondering what's your honest take. I don't mind either keeping it as well and hopes the value goes up a bit more. Thanks a lot.

(Disclaimer: I have the Chrome and 50)

I think this is still an underrated card. Hard to get a good grade on it, too because of foil/chipping.

PSA 10s:

Topps - 2423
Topps Chrome - 829
Topps NBA 50th - 67

BGS 9.5 or better:

Topps - 2097
Topps Chrome - 794
Topps NBA 50th - 147 with none better than a 9.5

I know the base and Chrome are more popular, but if I had all 3 of these, I'd hold the 50th cuz it's a lot more difficult to get back if I ever wanted to.

Honestly if you cannot make that decision on your own you should not be selling. Dont get caught up in what may or may not happen. If you like this price and buyer checks out sell it. Cash in hand is always the best choice.

I think the whole 90's Topps fad is stupid so I would take the money and run, but considering how much people are paying for the base, I would hold out for more, those 50th parallels are tough cards to gem.

Thanks guys. I knew my hunch was leaning towards keeping for now. I don't understand either that the foil is so underated compare to chrome and the base topps. I have a feeling this will turn out like the E-X2000 stardate that for some reason skyrocketed in value for 4K. I'll keep this card for now.
