Default 2020-21 gold prizms

With these 2020-21 flashback tribute gold prizms cards coming out, do you think this might hurt the value on the 2012-13 gold prizms? They look almost identical.

No - on the surface that thought process may make sense, but it does not typically work that way with cards

Wont hurt value. In fact many lucky people with the OG 2012 Gold will try to find the 2020 Gold of the same player to compliment their cards.

My only question is why make them this year, why not wait till 2022-2023 for a 10 year anniversary type thing? sorta like how chrome did the rookie variations in 2006-07 to mimic 1996-97 chrome? just odd timing.

Longevity doesn't appear to be Panini's goal right now.

That's like asking if the new Beatles tribute band the "Faux Fab Four" will make people forget about the original Beatles
