Went to LCS and bought box of 2019 20 Topps Chrome UEFA Champions League. There was a card in a sleeve so looked at it last. Thoughts???

It was in basically a penny sleeve inside the pack with other cards. Thought it was odd. I never opened one of these boxes nor watched anyone open so thought it was standard for the one auto so I left it for last.

I heard someone else pull a nice card (maybe Haaland super flash footballer) that said the same thing. If so kudos on Topps for protecting these monster hits. Great card

I have seen and heard of cards like this. Topps knows the value of their cards and that certain cards like a Messi 1/1 auto needs to be protected inside a pack. Huge shout out to Topps for doing this.

How does the surface of the card actually look? Any scratches at all or surface flaws? Congratulations on the huge hit.

That's amazing of Topps!

I pulled a super low Messi auto from Chronicles, and it looked like it had been through a washing machine cycle right out of the pack :-/

Surface looks fine to my eyes. Entire card looks brand new. After a few pics put it back in the penny sleeve i took it out of and upstairs in a lockbox. I'm just looking at the same pictures you are! Wish it was on card and not sticker...

I confirm I've opened a lot of Topps and have never pulled anything that was pre-sleeved. But I have been present when someone else has.

Amazing pull my friend. I'd take any Messi auto, even a sticker...let alone the fact that it's a 1/1! Congrats
