Default Scammer reminded me...

People at the National do have to be very careful with that handful of hundreds being offered for your cards. I've seen legitimate reports on how prolific some counterfeiters are nowadays. Mostly operating in foreign countries.
Be careful,
Vinny

And don't get caught up with fake E-Payments either! If someone wants to send you paypal, venmo etc. Don't just check that you got the email saying money was sent.

Actually log into your account, to see if the money is there!

These guys can spoof pay you, once you give them your email addy to send payment to. They just use a program that they type your email and the dollar amount into, and that creates a spoof email, which goes to your inbox.

Don't trust you email! Check your account. And if they tell you, it might take a little while to show up in your account, that's BS!

If you got the email, legitimately, the money will show!

A simple tech tip is to have a cheap video unit high up on a thin light stand inside your booth area that records to an sd card. I have Reolink units around my house that cost about $130 each and they work great. 1 Unit recording your customer area is a good backup and possible deterrent to shoplifting types.

And fairly pointless when it comes to any quality counterfeit currency.

No matter how good the counterfeit money has gotten, it really comes down to the overall feel. Make sure to compare to a real $100 bill that you have. Also, ink bleeds on a real $100 bill when you rub it against paper. On a counterfeit, the ink will not transfer to paper.
