I use the Ultra Pro magnetic holders for all my cards which consists of mostly autos. I do NOT put penny sleeves on top of the cards either. Never have, never will. From my 20+ year experience, I've never had my cards or autographs damaged because they were in a one touch case for looong periods of time. I'm against sandwhiching penny sleeves between the card and the case. It's pressing the auto harder onto the penny sleeve which is known to stick to surfaces and ink.

Same here, never had an issue with Ultra Pro magnetics for auto cards. One suggestion i'd add would be to get at least 1 to 2 sizes up from the card stock, especially for chrome cards which are often slightly bowed.

Example, if you have a 35pt auto card get 55pt, or even 75pt in some cases, to store it. Just make sure there's a decent ammount of space between the top of the card and the case. Store vertically or with the front of the card facing up.

So you're saying to store the card flat, face up?

This here is what works best for me.

Not an auto, but keeps this metal card surface from making contact on the holder.

Yeah that’s a much better way of saying it lol. Most of the time I store vertically in two row boxes, but if you store flat it’s best to have it facing up so the auto isn’t touching the case.
