Hey guys

It’s been a while, but I figured I would try this again. I’m looking for some high end Jason Giambi, will pay or trade BIG for the following;

09 Topps Unique Bat Knob

08 Upper Deck Premier Bat Barrel

I know this is close to impossible, but any help/info on these two cards would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I am a fan of Giambi as well and have not seen those in a very long time. I had to settle for Locker Name Plates, Jerseys, Hats, Bats myself.

Tony, I'm Craig Lewis the 2008 ud premier master set collector. I've discussed this card with you. I took a quick scan of my card of the 08 Jason Giambi Bat Barrell #2/2. I own 51 of different player bat barrels. I think there are 98 over all. I do not have that listed on this site. I'll post a picture of front and back. I did not clean up the scan for dust particles on the glass, etc. I'm trying to think back. I know on Joe Maurer which is a 1/1, I paid $700. I think I paid $600 for both Frank Robinson /2 and Miguel Cabrera /2. Giambi either cost me $650-750 or I paid for another case around $2300. I bought over 45 cases 10 boxers of the product, likely 10-15 half boxes. There were so many single boxes it is unreal. I'm way into $250k to $350k I'm guessing to date on this set alone and have a good $100-150k to go. The Giambi has Athletics cut into the bat below his signature. Many barrels do that in this set. Rolen with the Cardinals say Phillies. Sheffield with Detroit's says LA Dodgers. I obviously do NOT want to sell you this card. If I sell it I'm going to have sellers remorse so bad I'll shxx myself for months! Only one way to help that. You said pay BIG. Make it big.Nothing personal but I've busted my axx to collect these things since 2008. The only way I'll part with it is a big payment to break me free of it. I would prefer you don't do it. Say I get bored with this stuff in the next 10 1/2 years I'd offer it up to you first. At a more reasonable number. Of course my health is shot and I could drop in 3 months so my son or another collector who I am good friends with would take over my collections in a legacy trust. Let me know what you think. $ wise I'm talking $2,500 delivered, insured, signature confirmation, overnight. So just say no and let it pass. You may run into the 1/2 somewhere else.
