Has anyone seen these 2 Topps Update cards yet, or is it here we go again..

Anyone seen either of these 2 cards cards from '22 Update surface, or is this another listed on the checklist but not in the product scenario:

Major League Material Autographs Serial numbered #/50 or less.
PARALLEL CARDS: Red #/25 or less, Platinum

MLMA-AT Alek Thomas - Arizona Diamondbacks
MLMA-ST Spencer Torkelson - Detroit Tigers

Maybe am wrong, but to me it seems odd neither has surfaced by this point?

its still way early. i bought this year a 2015 McCullers pink /50 that hasnt shown up FS in 3 years prior

are those the autograph '87 red #/25 parallels you mean? I believe I've seen at least one Wander redemption for the red from update show up...

No,its a jersey/auto card with no resemblance at all to the '87 design.

Given that they should be sticker autos, they'll eventually pop up imo.

Could also be that there's only 25, 10, or 5 of them since it says 50 or less.

Give it like at least half a year. Update is a mass produced product and it takes time for one of these shorter print cards to appear on the market.

I think that generally speaking, a lot less product is being opened in general because a lot more is being hoarded by flippers.

I would not be at all shocked if many #/25 or less cards never show up across all sports and products.....I'm guessing we're at a point where only 10-20% of any given product release is being opened, with the rest becoming part of peoples' "wax stashes".

Alek may be a redemption, I pulled his /50 Gold 87 redemption.

Probably not as the relic autos are sticker autos. The 1987 are on card thus the redemption.

I'm not defending Topps, maybe they weren't packed out, maybe they haven't showned up on Ebay yet, or maybe the checklist is wrong. The listing on Cardboard Connection says there's 14 cards in the relic/auto set. But there's 26 names listed. (Side note, interesting that only like 6 players are in both the auto and non auto versions) just did a real basic ebay search on the entire auto list and it looks like 10 players have yet to show up there.

I'm still waiting to see one of the Cubs quad relics from 2022 Heritage. There's only 10, so it's surely possible they could be sitting in unopened boxes (or sitting in someone's collection at home who doesn't post online and didn't want to sell it).

I used to buy a good amount of flagship wax from 2018 until really series 1 of 2021. Once it became hard to see the value of opening so much product, I have only opened a few packs with the price increase and production increase.

I pulled a redemption for a Soto Auto relic last night so some of these may still be redemptions - despite them ostensibly being sticker autos.

Am at this point going to assume both are numbered no higher than /10, but still think when if you combine the 2 print runs of both those guys which would then be /20 that at least 1 of the 2 of them would have surfaced by now.

It's been out for like a week, right? Hardly enough time to confirm anything.

Even if you say /10 for each, clears are numbered to 10 so do a quick search on any 2 random players from the clear set and see if they've been pulled yet. Plus the set you're looking for is in all formats so there would be even more product that would have to be opened. At least clears are limited to Hobby boxes only.

Or even the camo /25. That's another one you could search 2 random players and find that not many have been pulled/listed.

It would be one thing if those were the only 2 on the checklist that haven't surfaced yet. But when I checked 2 days ago, there were 10 that didn't look like they had popped up yet.

Just because you haven't seen 2 cards for sale after 1 week doesn't mean anything.

Pretty sure material auto /25 swanson and Jimenez on ebay and a red /25 auto too of a few guys. Maybe not the right cards but thats whats there so far a Muncy /5, soto /10 so they are coming out?

Topps doesn't always make every parallel for the "hits" - sometimes they skip Base cards all together which stinks if you're wanting to put together a set
