Default 2000 Fleer Molten Metal

Hey guys,

Has anyone heard of a set from fleer called Molten metal? I saw one pop up on OfferUp and don’t recall this one at all. And Google is no help for details or checklist.

There was a 1999 set from Skybox called Molten Metal https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid...x-Molten-Metal

Oh yeah, I opened lots of football, basketball and even baseball boxes of that in the late 90's..
You could always tell the packs that had an actual metal insert card in it and saved them for last.

There was also a 2000 set. I saw one set sealed with auto and relic, but i dont know the checklist. Most other listings, are just the set sealed.

Maybe they fall under the millenium silver/gold subset? https://www.tcdb.com/Checklist.cfm/s...lennium-Silver

Here is an example card on COMC https://www.comc.com/Cards/Football/...l_Davis/932045

It looks like those cards have the same logo as the boxes listed as 2000 Skybox Metal sets on ebay.

Its the 1999 set. There is no 2000 Molten Metal set. Might be a factory set but it is not 2000. I know the back says 2000 but it is actually 1999.
