I collect football only really, but I decided I will PC Jeter Downs since we have the same last name. Today I was looking at some cards, and I noticed there’s so many different rookie cards.
Over the long term, which ones are considered the most desirable? I picked up a 2017 first bowman chrome auto, but I noticed he still has rookie cards from 2021? Very confusing Any help is appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ![]() Last edited by 49ersfan52; 04-10-2023 at 04:52 PM. |

Jeter Downs’ rookie card is in 2023 Topps Series 1 #165. You can probably get some nice parallels cheap. He’ll be in other products released in 2023 as well. Everything before that is a prospect card. As far as value, I have no idea.

Thanks guys. So if this guy turns out to be any good, would be official rookie card be better value is? Or the prospect card?

If you want something else, Marlins mentioned his RC Rookie - 2023 Topps Series 1 #165. Look for a low-numbered parallel (Black, Indy, Camo, Clear, Red).

You got his best first year card already, congrats!
That will be his most valuable down the line as well. |
