Help w/97-98 Bowman's Best Packs

I've been out of the hobby for 25+ years, but went through some of what I have still and found 24 un-opened packs of 1997-98 Bowman's Best Basketball. The photo of one pack is included here.

I've looked up online what this was, and I know it's not Hobby packaging, as they came with 6 cars per pack. And I've seen what I think is Retail packs, that had 3 cards per pack, but they were printed with a $2.99 price flag on the packs, and these packs don't have that.

My best guess, though I don't remember removing so many packs, is that these packs may have been part of Blister 2-pack packaging. Is this what I have here?

Didn’t Caldor sell boxes / blisters too?

Wish I could remember what products mine even had.
