Default Tariffs/Fees from ebay purchase from China?

I’ll post this question here because I’ll figure to get a quicker response and the item in question is related to basketball.

Are there any fees or tariffs involved when buying from an ebay seller in China?

If so, what should I expect to pay for collectibles?

I just bought a few cards from China last month. I didn't pay any tariff fees, just regular tax and shipping. Took 2 weeks to get 1 order delivery and 3 weeks for another.

I am too scared to buy anything out of the US right now. Long shipping waits and also I have seen many fakes come out of China, Japan, etc...

Over a certain declared value only do tariffs come into play. This isn’t a China thing. It’s an importing into the USA thing and based on our own country’s laws

Thanks for the response fellas.

As far as cards being counterfeited, it’s in a psa slab so hopefully it’s authentic.
Although, those can be faked too.

It’s $800 correct?

If so, this card is over that amount. Unless, (Allegedly)I ask the seller to declare a lower value.

I like buying from China because most of the time, the cards are gem mint. There is a little delay. Never paid a tariff, just shipping and sometimes shipping is free.

I would NEVER buy a PSA card from China. They make the cases over there and can easily fake the registry numbers.
