He might have pulled 1k total resale value from two boxes (12k), pulled some last card magic (lol) with a Shai

Even with a popular YouTube channel I don't see how that isn't just lighting money on fire

Yeah I doubt he loses on any break. He's probably getting a huge discount from Panini.

You really have to hit the jackpot on this product to break even. What's a LeBron/Curry auto going to get you as a return?

NT (FOTL or regular) hasn't been worth it for over half a decade now, and it continually gets worse.

Once that $500/box mark was eclipsed, it's been pure lupus.

Simu Liu's an industry plant. Good for moderate entertainment, but he's getting under the table corporate funding til' the sun don't shine. Plus I just thoroughly enjoy the awkward stretches of silence when he coerces actual NBA players to rip packs with him.

Agreed. I enjoy watching him. But I have to fast forward the first 10 minutes just to get to the packs haha.

Seriously not trying to be a jerk but ....what's new?

Every high-end release people post a bad rip that lost 95% of the money as if it isn't known that is the case for a good 70% of high-end product rips. I get it hits harder when the boxes are thousands but it feels like we always do this cycle when it never changes.

Not sure the issue with packman. You can always watch 10 cases of Blez in the same time, but then you would hardly raise an eyebrow at a 1/1 except that it won a bounty.

I mean what do you expect when the top rookies no longer have autos? Not that it was much better back then but these posts hit more when you could hit a Zion or Ja RPA. The same way it's brutal, if it was possible and someone hit a Wemby it would raise the ceiling for these insanely. The question is why people even buy these products with no chance at the top guys, no vets are gonna make it worth it really not like they have Jordan/Lebron or any Kobes left, I guess when you make money like Packman though the laundry tags and 1/1 unicorns are worth trying for.
