Panini Flawless thread - All seasons

Hi all, would like to get some chat going about Flawless as a product.

I've been trying to grab some 12/13 and 14/15 Base diamonds /20 but they are scarce.

There's been plenty of swings and misses with this product over the years, but also some elegant and classy designs.

I hope this seasons is awesome as I'd like to collect some of the modern stars of the game. Gotta believe a LeBron in a Lakers jersey will be through the roof..

I personally don't like Flawless being graded, but I had to grab the Duncan as there's just no others that turn up.

I missed out by a few $$$ on the Dirk that was on ebay recently.

Does anyone else hate Flawless being graded? and why?

^^Beautiful scan of a beautiful card. Love the "assortment of jams that would make Smuckers jealous...jelly" write-up on the back.

I wouldn't personally use the term "hate" for Flawless being graded, but I do prefer one in its original encasement (assuming the magnetic is in good shape) due to the uncirculated nature of it.

This auto is from 2012. It had this version /10, an emerald /5 and a platinum /1. It is nice to see some rare autos without a ton of versions to it

I also hate Flawless base cards graded. Another BO member bought a PC card and it was graded a BGS 9. He reached out to Panini and they put it back in a Flawless case for him.

I don't really care about it being in the original case... It's just a one touch with a sticker on it. I just care if the case is clean and not all scratched up.

So I've been eyeing up a couple of cards and would love some opinions.

Adam (the27guy) I'm looking at you also.

I grabbed a Klay and Draymond 14/15 base /20

The cards I have my eye on

14/15 Base Diamond Steph (there's multiple on ebay but a couple are graded) there's a Green for $300+

What is his base worth from that season (championship year mind you and I'd love to match it with Klay and Dray)

Also, the 2nd year Giannis is $300 at COMC. Is that price fair?

I actually love Flawless stuff and think it's the best premium basketball product out now.

The patch auto's are just NASTY.

Man Drob I want that Duncan SO badly. I mostly have patches but I do have a few diamond /20. That Duncan is at the top of my list!

I’ll have to update my bucket but I do have a few already I’m there. Mostly patches that I bought right when they released, Flawless has been one of my favorites since day one.

I too am a big fan of Flawless. I’ve been trying to collect 13-14 Gold Patch Autos. I’m about six away from finishing that. Also have 12-13 Gold Patch collection and 15-16 Championship Tag Autos.

This is great news. Food for thought for sure. The way ebay/paypal are ripping us International collectors off I might be better off flying to the US to buy cards and them drop my graded and dirty uncirculated Flawless cards in.

Just seeing this. I like the idea of a 14-15 base Giannis. That's cool. I'll admit that I thought about making an offer on that after reading your post. Price wise, I haven't kept up with these since I sold the first year rookies, but I still really like the rookies (in years where they didn't do Gala) and think the base are really cool. For most of the guys in the Flawless sets, that's the rarest base card they've ever had made. One exception is if they have a Gala or Eminence base card - and most players do not.

All is fair in love and cards my man. The card is up for grabs.

I feel if I splurge it will be on the Giannis or Steph. The Giannis price looks high but the Steph ones the sellers want a lot more
