Insurance Fee

I am selling a card on ebay for just over $300, The bidder lives just outside Chicago and I am just outside Dallas. I used the usps website to try and calculate the cost of insurance for this item. It came up for $4.55 for $300, does that seem right?

This is the chart I found. Don't know if it's 100% accurate but seems close to what I have been paying

$2.05 ................ $50.01 to $100
$2.45 ................ $100.01 to $200
$4.60 ................ $200.01 to $300
$5.50 ................ $300.01 to $400
$6.40 ................ $400.01 to $500
$7.30……………$500.01 to $600
