(BETWEEN THE PIPES DOES MASK FIVE)

Not much of a story but a really cool photo. In the Game Trading Cards is offering the Mask Insert series again in the goalie heavy "Between the Pipes."

The Between the Pipes Series releases the first week of March and is one of the favorites of the hockey card season. The reason is goalies are always in demand when it comes to hockey cards going back to the early days of cards which featured net minders. The Mask, which dates back to the Pinnacle Trading Cards of the 1990's were always hot commodities when it came to insert sets due to their unique and colorful designs.

In The Game is proud to again bring the Mask cards to collectors. This year's version Mask V will feature some spectacular mask designs worm on the masks of some spectacular goalies.

Black 1/1 Version

Gold 1/10 Version

Regular Version

Here's part of the autograph list as well
uture stars, current stars and past stars of the men between the pipes will all be featured in this year's autograph list.

Carey Price, Jonas Hiller, Justin Pogge, Jonathan Bernier, Steve Mason, Tuuka Rask and Thomas McCollum are some of the future star goalies. Roberto Luongo, Ray Emery, Tomas Vokoun, Peter Budaj, Martin Brodeur, J-S Giguere and Dominik Hasek are some of the current stars, Patrick Roy, Grant Fuhr, Glenn Hall, Felix Potvin, Ron Hextall, Tony Esposito are some of the past stars. There will also be autographs of some of the stars of the WHA; Mike Liut, John Garrett, Michel Dion, Ernie Wakely, Les Binkley, Gilles Gratton and Joe Daley.

I wish I could do some of this....but I can't let myself fall to far off the wagon. I really want to get my new garage built before fall, so next year I can get that new duck boat to put in it.

I've also read they will be doing a redemption program with their decoys. I believe I saw it would be a dual relic, one vet paired with a prospect, slabbed and numbered to /20 (still keeping my fingers crossed that my 3 show up today, they're do anytime from 07 Heroes and Prospects).
