Default Are any of these sub $600 cases worth ripping???

I am just looking for a fun rip for my first case ever...deciding between football and baseball so a similar thread may be found on the baseball side first.

Prizm is always fun to open. Definitely can get some duds, but there are cards in there that people will buy. I bought couple cases of Prizm in 2014 and they were a lot of fun.

I would stay away from anything 2103. The Prizm is probably the best one out of those. The Bowman Chrome is hit or miss and same with Tek. I would go with anything 2014.

Prizm can be fun but Chrome Mini can be loaded. Remember though mini cards are not for everyone.

Also check my COMC. Even if you don't use COMC I can have cards shipped.

Whats up buddy!

Hey...I would also look at '14 select cases as well - tons of great rookie's in '14 and a great price.....link:

2014 Panini Select Football Hobby 14 Box Case - $749.95 : Blowout Cards - Sports Cards and Trading Cards Wholesale Online Store

and obviously after I pulled the link I realized that they jacked the price waaaaaaaaaaaaaay up!

This was sub $500 during BF and several other times afterwards.....GL either way!

I don't see much value in any of those products. About the only one I'd gamble on is the 2014 Bowman Chrome, which you can get a case for $309. I figure 12 boxes for 309.00 is good entertainment and its not a lot of money.

What about 2012 or 2014 SP Authentic football? 2013 Retro would also be another fun rip in my opinion.

That is a huge jack up. I busted 34 boxes of this stuff when it was $28. At that price you couldnt lose (well not much anyway) It just gets super repetitive after awhile. At $55 a box (current "sale" price) it would be a blood bath. Way too many unknown rookie auto's and PLENTY of 1 color high numbered rookie jersey cards, I wouldnt sniff it at that price.

OP, grab some 2014 Certified! Pretty easy to pull a good rookie (Carr. Teddy B, Bortles ETC), lots of inserts and the FOTG cards sell well. Boxes can be had for under $40 with 4 hits and an OK chance to pull something numbered to 5 or less.

I would go 2014 chrome, can be brutal, but with chance at super with Watkins Carr Bortles Evans Bridgewater and obj, plus more....it has the highest upside in my opinion. 14 certified has too many panini points

Never rip 2013. Stick to 2014, and in some cases 2015

i would stay away from 2013. there is a reason its so cheap. 14 bowman chrome or 15 prizm would be my picks from that list. the mini has a limited resell market. 14 has the better rookie class i think. but i like prizm more than bc.

2014 Topps Chrome Mini. I had a solid break, nothing crazy but nice mid tier break with a Superfractor. Some of the base auto's are SP'd or non existent although I haven't been watching lately. Focused more on my guitars and work Solid names in it and who doesn't like on card auto's?
One day they will shine IMO like 75' Topps mini over the full size if a couple rookies hold up. There are less than 300 #/ refractors thru the whole product not counting the base refractor. A lot more SP'd than the full size although less colors also which IMO is a good thing.

I'd wait for the next time Blowout does a special on cases to hopefully get some better choices.

I wouldn't buy any cases you posted, especially 2013. I would go for a case of 2014 Elite. It's a fun break and cheap. It's a little over $600 but I'd also go for a 2015 Finest case. I actually have one on the way right now. 15 Finest was an extremely fun break, that's why I bought another one. You get some pretty sweet cards too.

I think you should buy them all and figure out what was best afterwards.
