You guys should coordinate with the other show so as not to have both shows be on the same day.

Yeah, we normally do not have our show and other local shows on the same days. Unfortunately it just happened to work out this way on this specific month.

Our last show was REALLY good and this one is poised to be even better given the caliber of dealers we'll have setting up with us despite the other shows going on.

I'm going to a Dallas card show on Saturday. Flying in tomorrow afternoon. Wonder if it is this one

OP, I went to one in Grapevine two weeks ago, did you have anything to do with that? I was very, very surprised by the dealer turn out as well as the quality of items available. I'm sure seeing multiple Ruth, Robinson, Cobb, Johnson autos isn't a big deal at The National but I sure didn't expect to see them at the Grapevine Convention Center in a show that wasn't well publicized.

I was surprised how many dealers were from out of town too, I'm not sure how they make the numbers work to justify that but a few were even from out of state. Then again, the prices were very high so I guess that is how they were attempting to cover costs. Good show all around but I didn't buy a single thing due to noncompetitive pricing. Still had fun though.

I was there at that show, but I was not the promoter of it or involved with the operation of it. That show was put on by Joel Painter and Adam Rowe. Both great guys and they always have solid venues for their shows.

Unfortunately that show really turned out to be Adam buying out a few local guys he knows and then leaving the next morning so it pretty much killed the second day of the show. Beckett really didn't even want to come back on the 2nd day to do RCR or take submissions.

We're always looking to buy if it's the right deal and we also have people fly in from Florida and elsewhere that come in to buy at our shows as well, but not to the point to where it's going to kill the show for everyone. That is definitely not what we want to have happen and we make sure everyone has a fair opportunity to buy and sell.

We had a great show today and had over 140 people come in through the door. Not quite the most people we've had, but definitely in the Top-3.

I personally had a great day having sold my 2011 Bowman Chrome - Bryce Harper AU - BGS 9.5/10 for $1,300.00

Definitely some money moving around up there and quality items to be had.

We'll see everyone at our next show on May 20, 2017!
