3 Boxes of Contenders = Small Ice Storm

I love opening Contenders, it is one of the few products I will break on a consistent basis year after year, this year is not nearly as pressing as 2016 was due to the Rookie Class, but I definitely couldn't turn these down after watching some boxes be opened by one of my friends at the LCS. Today was cold and has dropped even more after the sun went down, so we are indeed due for a little flurry of Ice from Contenders.

Like 2013s were /21 because Contenders was 21 years then?

Yep, in 2012 it was the 20th Anniversary of the Contenders set being released (1992), Cracked Ice cards were made to commemorate that and they were #'d/20.

25 years later and the product is still going strong.

Heh, I got lucky, the Mahomes was in the 2nd to last box of the case. There's still one stubborn box left out of that case waiting for you lol.

I hope he lights it up too, it would be nice to see the Chiefs' investment in him be rewarded.

I am damn lucky sometimes, most of the time I am certainly not lol.

I may have to have a conversation with Panini CS about this card though, the back is a chipped up mess on two edges.
