Topps Clear variation/10

I love these things so started pulling them out of my player boxes tonight to see how many I had. One of these days I’ll get a new scanner for proper pics but you get the idea here. Some solid young players, some possible washout and some possible multiple all stars. Plus 6 of the 10 Franmils, which is incredibly excessive. Hoped to use this post to see some other rare cards that are buried in PCs that rarely see the light of day. Let’s see em!

Dang, here I was happy with having a Franmil black and indy and you post 6 clear acetates, lol. VERY impressive!

Got this when I thought he'd be in the long term plans for the Yankees. Couldn't get back what I paid for it so I guess I'm holding until next year.

The funny thing about the 6 Reyes cards is that there is at least 1 member one these boards who has one plus another on ebay - that's 8. Lotta 18' Update hobby has been busted through.

They come up on auction almost every day, most non RCs of commons-semi stars sell under $20.

And yeah, no one will be able to match up with that Acuna, Soto, Ohtani Tatis spread but this isn’t about competition, it’s about me being able to drool over rare cards I’ll never own!

I used to have a Gleyber Update clear. Sold it and made a good chunk of money last year, but kinda wish I just held onto it for the long term future. I debated it, but had to sell it at the time to make up for excessive Chrome Update/christmas present shopping last year lol

That Springer is really nice.

I opened the same product (2014 Update) few years ago in search for Betts RC, and pulled a clear of low tier player, which I sold for $5.
I believe it was a Phillies catcher.
Was still an exciting pull, since I'm also a fan of the clear acetates, but wish I had pulled a better name.

My 1 and only....not a PC player, but holding it since I think it is cooler than getting $15 - 20 for it.

I vaguely remember thinking he looked like a slightly mellower version of Clubber Lang back in the day. He was hot for a few minutes as I recall.

Yeah these are so cool that they’re almost better to hold onto than sell. I picked this up a few weeks ago in a lot and its just cool to look at.
