Better 2019 investment.....

If you walked into Target and saw stacks of the following untouched what would you grab:

- series 2 topps fat packs
- series 2 topps hanger boxes
- series 2 topps blasters
- series 2 topps retail packs

- topps chrome blasters
- topps chrome value packs (with the pink)

- topps chrome update blasters
- topps chrome update value packs (pink)

- topps update blasters
- topps update hanger boxes
- topps update fat packs
- topps update retail regular pack

I'd buy Series 2 stuff that was in some sort of box (Blasters, Hangers, Retail Boxes, Etc.)

And for what it's worth - 2018 Series 1 is a sneaky good value if you are getting it cheap enough. I like Rafael Devers, Ozzie Albies, Jack Flaherty, Walker Buehler, Victor Robles, Max Fried better than what I've seen out of the 2019 Update group (so far - time will tell). I just wish more of those 2018 Series 1 guys had SP versions.

If you are buying online where prices aren't MSRP, just keep in mind that pack odds are pretty consistent on a per-card basis... so just do math to find the best odds / $ ratio

Better rc checklist- as of today- yes. And probably will remain. My comment was based upon a possible demand for SP/SSP offerings of everyone's base card. With them not existing for the main guys in s2 and update I was thinking they may bring this year's offering up in prominence a bit?
Certainly could be wrong here but this year's TU/TCU offerings leave some to be desired and usually that vaccuum is filled by other products becoming more in-demand based upon content.
