I'm new to the release cycles/schedule. Does Heritage Minor League happen later in the year, or are they somewhat simultaneous?

Heritage minor usually comes out in the fall.

No mention of the newer colored chrome parallels (eg, green, silver, red).

'74 Topps is the first baseball card I can remember owning. I inherited a bunch of tattered '74 Topps when I was a kid. Most of them were in poor condition, but I didn't care I was 8 years old and loved owning Ron Cey and Steve Garvey cards.

Will be curious to see if they have the San Diego/Washington variations for the Padres like they did when they used the 1974 design in Archives a few years ago.

Would be kinda funny, since Soto was traded from Washington to San Diego last year

Also...the inability to use "Los Angeles" or "Anaheim" on the Angels cards is going to make the Trout and Ohtani cards look hideous.

I don't understand this. Why can't they put Los Angeles on the card? Can they use California instead?
