Default Going To Boston! Things to Do?

My wife and I are heading to Boston soon and I was just looking for some suggestions of places to go, places to eat, good card shops , etc.

Right now, on out itinerary is touring Fenway (Red Sox unfortunately don't play at home whole we are there), walking Freedom Trail, and doing a Whale Watching tour.

I appreciate all and any suggestions

Museum of Fine Arts is a must
See if the BSO is playing when you are there
USS Constitution
It’s been a few years but Tias on the waterfront is a nice restaurant but I’m not sure they made it through the pandemic
Legal seafood is kind of chain-y now so not worth it

Avoid annoying cousins.

I second the USS Constitution tour. When I was stationed in Ft. Devens, I used to give the tours on the weekends.

The Boston Aquarium is beautiful. I've enjoyed going there and seeing all the different types of sea creatures and things you can find under the water.

There's also the Quincy Market. This is really neat to see and they have everything there. I really suggest you do both of these.

Not sure of the masking policies and that's one thing I would check out before traveling.

The aquarium is awful. It's dated and on a busy day you can't move because the aisles and walkways are so narrow.

I'd recommend the science museum over the aquarium.

My Rascal can maneuver through Fenway just fine and we all know how small that place is...

The Quincy Market is really cool. Eat there and then get a pint at the Bell in Hand which is supposedly the longest continually running tavern in America. Also just walking along the Revere trail will lead you to a lot of neat old places. My wife and I took the ferry from the airport to downtown and it was worth the $20 just to be out on the water for a while.

For food, go to the North End. Amazing Italian food. I recommend Ben Cotto or Bacco. It gets pretty busy in there so book a reservation
