Default Safe way to clean a card

I tried to find other posts, sorry if this is a repeat question. I bought a card on eBay and it showed up with half a bloody fingerprint on the back. Normally I would send it back, but it is a 1/1. I really don't want to ruin my card any more than this bloody fingerprint already has. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is it evidence from a murder trial?

Removing blood might be difficult...I know of a old bar trick of using your saliva on your own blood to remove it off your clothes(damn lemon wedge cutter). But I do not know of blood off of cardboard

Was it a OJ Simpson card or a Ray Lewis card?

This is in the Baseball section so it’s probably not but please Lord, don’t let this be an OJ or Aaron Hernandez card.

Unfortunately, not OJ....... God, I now wish it was OJ so damn badly. Sadly, it is my beloved David Wright.

The same way you clean reading glasses.

Hot breath and a clean microfiber cloth.

You should send it to the FBI or something. Maybe they'll solve a murder from 40 years ago or something

It's the last one I need to complete the set. That's the only reason I am trying to clean it.

It's from a seller I trust, who I believe is on here. I don't know that he is offing anyone...... Hopefully. Then again, guess we never really know.

It's a catch-22... He only does that to people that return cards to him

That's why he has 100% rating, no one left to report him

Good lord, that's crazy. Did you see a scan of the back when buying? Is it fresh. That's just nasty.

I mean, I'm glad it worked out and you were able to save the card. I just feel like there's still maybe an unanswered question or two...
