I forgot the Marlins did over the Indians, for the life of me i could only remember them beating the Yankees with beckett and miggy.

Game 7 of the 1997 World Series is still one of the great sports memories for me. Bob Costas said it was one of his all time favorite games to call. It’s a really interesting game to watch now. The full game is on YouTube. Check it out!

I often wonder what folks would suggest MLB should have done last year. Not have a World Series? Not play at all?

That as well, 2018 was weird.

I loved the championship but once the Yankees adds and alcs against the stros happened the ws was meh

I honestly forget them all almost immediately. Baseball has become such a game of stat accumulation that who wins fades pretty quickly against who has amazing stats in what years. Like I can remember the Tigers winning in 84, but have no idea if the verlander tigers ever won one.

I do remember 97 and 2016. As an Indians fan, the were gut punches in the anthem of Cleveland Sports heartbreaks.

I was a baby when it happened but I always forget the Orioles won in the 1980s (83) and that Cal was on the team.
