Default 1938 Churchman Jack Johnson

I recently won a Churchman Jack Johnson boxing card on eBay from a vendor in the UK. I just received the card today and am wondering about the card stock of the issue. I have never seen a Churchman card before and was surprised how thin it was. It is not nearly as thick as the card stock here in North America.

I was thinking that the card was going to be like an A&G mini card - size-wise and thickness-wise.

Does anyone here know much about these cards? Am I overthinking it?

I have two sets, plenty of extras, and some I've graded myself. They are almost paper thin. Either that, or every one I have, including the graded ones, are fake.

They were reprinted though. Legally. Has a lot to do with why they are so affordable I've learned. Yours is not a reprint.

Looks fine. Most cigarette cards from that era, including all the Churchmans, are thin.
