Default Pool Owners: Robotic Pool Vacuum Suggestions

I'm looking at the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus....it has the most reviews and is roughly 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon. Seems the biggest complaint is that it does not last that long...which is probably to be expected with these things. I would be grabbing an extended warranty plan regardless.

Does anyone suggest any other models?

Two points...

Too bad you only do boat windows.

Only an idiot would have a pool in VT where they use it two months of the year.

Nothing better than cooling off in a pool after a long day in 60 degree weather.

Yes, I guess if you are 345 lbs like Bnut you get hot and sweaty at any temperature over 55 degrees.

I don't see a rule against "derailing" threads.

Default Pool Owners: Robotic Pool Vacuum Suggestions

Too many questions about your pool equipment and what kind of backyard debris to answer this thoughtfully.
For suction side cleaners I’d prefer a Kreepy Krauly or Hayward Pool Vac
For pressure side you’d want a Polaris I think.

Something to add now.
A young friend of mine got an above ground pool.

She figured she had 44000 gallons of water in the pool (Maybe 4000) and put enough chemicals into it that she can probably swim in it by 2063

Hayward DE filter pump. Pool is along a tree line so think heavy side of things when it comes to debris. Sides I don't care about, they are easy enough to scrub. I just HATE manually vacuuming.

REAL RESPONSE ALERT (KINDA)

Robots take too long to clean the pool and cost too much money.

I've moved to manually vacuuming the pool myself. Takes 15/20 minutes and comes out perfect.

Cheap > lazy every time.
