Default YG vs YG Jumbo

Hi everyone,

I was just looking to see what peoples thoughts were on YG Jumbo.

I know the value on them is a fraction of what the regular sized YG is but was wondering if down the road theres any value in them?

Also does anyone know the print run comparison? I was just checking the POP Report, kinda funny to see how a YG Connor McDavid has 1,982 graded 10's and YG Jumbo McDavid has 6. I'm sure people are just not grading jumbos because the value isn't there, but it seems like an interesting buy at a tenth of the cost.

thanks!

They have a lot going against them.

First, they're jumbos, so you lose points there.

Second, they're printed without foil stamping so they just look cheap.

I love them and love how cheap they are but jumbos have been the red-headed stepchild of the card world for decades. I don't see it ever changing. 1964 Topps Giants is one of the best looking sets ever created. You can snag a Mantle for a tenth of any of the other normal Mantles from '52-'69.

haha it really is so true, they are the red-headed stepchild lol.

I hate how they don't have the foil stamping on them and obviously hate buying toploaders for them.

I do however think they look great in a slab and having them in a display is still nice to look at it.

I just got the jumbos signed pre-covid. Different story now. BGS holder looks better or PSA needs to extend their label across the entire slab.

for regular fans they look nice in a man cave or on a desk signed. they're not in the yg conversation. More like an alternative to a puck or 8x10 or mini helmet.

Plus when they stopped putting them in cello, they tend to have corner and edge issues coming out of the blaster.
