Default had to leave my first negative

for the first time in 25 years I had to leave my first negative. I got a card where the description says 'like new" When i got it the card was in a bubble envelope, wrapped in bubble wrap, with cardboard and a top loader and Pennie sleeve so the card was shipped well and safe. But it has a bent corner. I contacted him not for my money back but to tell him there was damage and you said it was 'like new" he quickly said it was me who damaged it. All i did was slide it out of the top loader and saw the damage. if we was sorry or apologized I would not of left the neg. But my first in 25 years.

I can sort of see something there, with the five times magnification.

What turd jumps to that conclusion right off the bat?
His only response should have been "sorry, send back for a full refund"

You can see in the scan that the corner is off, I'd request a refund.

Unless it is a card that I have to add, I avoid sellers whose pictures are behind a soft sleeve and top loader.

If I need the card, I will message them about the condition. Unfortunately, that hasn't been foolproof either.

I messaged two sellers in the last 6 months and specifically asked if there were creases on the card that their pictures didn't pick up. They assured me there wasn't. I bought the cards and found out they were wrong.

.
Little extreme....you would never buy off me then. I make sure cards avoid ever being taken out of protection. Especially when scanning....not always a good idea to put a raw card unprotected on an easel and take a “pic”.

That's fine, unless it is a one of one I will find another. I scan cards every day, and none have occurred a defect. If they did, I would disclose it.

Unfortunately, I have experienced too many sellers that hide defects behind the sleeve/top loader.

I am tired of the listings, "What you see is what you get", or "See picture", or nothing in the description and listed as "Like New".

I am a collector in a number of hobbies, and the sports card hobby is by far the worst for scumbag sellers on eBay.
