Default Sports Illustrated for Kids RC Cards

Hi everyone. I just got a lot of about 30 SI for Kids magazines from the last 4-5 years. Have Rc's of Burrow, Soto, Coco, Osaka, and more. They are uncut sheets still in the magazines. Is it better to keep the sheets and dispose of rest of the magazine since they have been read and have some curls and creases? I plan to cut the cards and get graded for the top rc cards from the sheets and top loader the rest to hold for the future.

What is the best method for the sheets until I find the best way to separate the cards into individual cards? Does anyone have tips for best way to cut or separate them for grading? Thank you for any info.

Do NOT cut the cards. The grading companies will only grade the cards that are hand separated and still have the little tabs on the proper sides. I would take a sheet that does not have any valuable cards and practice folding and tearing the cards apart. Or, take them to a friend who has experience doing this.

The individual sheets sell as well or better than the entire magazine. Once the cards are out of the magazine, the magazine is almost worthless to collectors.
Just be careful in removing the sheet from the magazine and store it in a flat, safe place to avoid damage.

I'd exacto knife the pages out of the magazine as close to the spine as possible. Don't put opposing pressure on the sheet while you are securing during the cut or you could warp the cards. Rest of mag is good for a fire pit lol.

Take the magazine apart by unstapling it and remove the whole cardboard sheet of cards, then work on it. I have a bunch of Lebron's I've been waiting to work on....someday.

Thank you all for the tips. I think I will remove them and dump the books then practice on a sheet that has the least desirable cards on it and do the separating.
