No state income tax and expansion draft rules similar to 2017 should grease the gears for an easy way to get talent and immediate contention. I expect them to be a playoff team in year one.

The traffic jams getting to/from the arena are going to be EPIC.....main reason why I turned down the opportunity to get season tickets.
I'll go to a few weekend games, but that's it.... |

The Kraken's colors remind me a lot of something you would see a 90's IHL team sporting. And you know what? I don't mind them at all.

Anyone else get in on the Spend on epacks and gain eligibility to purchase physical 1st printing Upper deck card of the team? Think it was up for like a week or two? Anyhow, grabbed a couple of them, as even though I don't follow hockey, I'm interested in checking them out.
They haven't printed or shipped yet, but may be nice to have.

One of my former boss's and a friend is one of the Kraken's scouts. John was the OHL scoring leader years ago playing for the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds and is also great friends with Ron Francis.

I noticed some hockey highlights on ESPN the other day, went to check standings and noticed Seattle isn't playing yet. When's the first Kraken activity, season or draft or whatever?

Their AHL team is going to be based in Palms Springs. Will have to go check out some games when they play the Gulls.
