You literally bought this from eBay last week for $400.

So.. that's the value.

It's also covered in blue biro pen all over the back.

In my opinion I was lucky to purchase it for that price, it is impossible to find even in these conditions. Tell me how many collectors have this card...

It was a seven day auction of one of the most searched for players in global sports with ten different bidders making 26 bids.

It's at a fair price, considering the overall damage and the extensive vandalism on the back.

If you're curious as to how much it's worth flipping it - put it on PWCC.

Considering the state of the card 4-500 seems right

I don't understand why an alifabolaget card of Pele' more common even in conditions like this is sold for 5-6000 euro and that card is not so rare like this.....

Because rarity isn't everything. There are literally millions of "rare" cards that sell for pennies because nobody cares about them or collects them. Just ask anybody who pulls a 1/1 of a common, no-name, player.

Price is a function of both supply AND demand....it doesn't really matter how low the supply is if demand is equally low.

Honestly a real collector of Pele' cards can't miss this card, I have researched it for many time, I don't want to sell. (or in case for another card so rare)

It's not really up to you to decide who a 'real' collector of Pele is.

I don't want to argue, everyone thinks as they want, but a collector of Pele stickers usually tries to get the rookies and the rare ones. In any case I'm closing the discussion, we just have different opinions also because in the meantime I have had requests, but this is not what I wanted by opening this thread. I didn't buy to earn money but I am convinced that this card is worth much more than what I spent and in fact I repeat they have already made me offers higher of what I spent, but I am not selling it.

It's worth the $400 you paid for it in an open, public auction over seven days.

The card is highly damaged, folded and the back has severe vandalism in blue pen.

I don' t say you an offer that a collector has made to me few minutes ago.
In any case I respect your opinion, but the conditions are not so important if a card is super rare.

This thread was super entertaining lmao classic pump down to "I have offers higher than what I paid already" with no evidence whatsoever.

Like someone said rarity isn't everything and while people may think like you they aren't going to pay four figures because they themselves will want to flip it for four figures. It isn't a bad concept and does have value, but if you have an idea who Hulk Hogan is i'll compare it to him, he recently has a super rare Japanese "rookie" card or sticker go on auction, someone thought due to its rarity (much rarer than his other rookies/cards) it would break the record for Hogan cards......it didn't. It sold well but most people had never even heard or nor really cared about the card and that affects value, I see the same here

Less now, than what you paid for it in that eBay auction. Packing it up for shipping & unpacking- it's going to ding up a corner on ya.

Yay is a monument of calm with a pinch of sarcasm, I can tell you that.

Moving on now.

Ok guys at this moment I have an offer of 1100 euro really, but I don't sell the card, I spent many time for find it.
I accept and read your opinions but this is a really rare card, some collectors don't know it due to its rarity, four or five people have asked me for more information for this. In my humble opinion, if a card is rare, even if damaged, it should not always be devalued for this reason, in some cases rarity is more important than quality. If there are only 5 cards in the world of that brand that can be found, even if damaged they can not be devalued, this obviously applies not only to Pele. Then everyone thinks as they want...
