Can you comment on when the S2 Young Guns checklist will be out? I'm just assuming that won't be until well after the season starts as presumably which draft picks make it in as Young Guns in S2 may depend on whether they start the year on their NHL team.

THE fact that the season hasnt even started yet, does that mean no 2022 draft picks in series 1 ?

Yes. This was disclosed before. I don't think there's a guarantee they will be in Series 2 either. Think that is likely dependent on whether or not they start the year out on their NHL team.

That seems excessively high to me. Maybe it's just that specific store or a Canada vs. U.S. thing but you can find boxes for under $100 pretty easily online in the U.S.

$100 usd is ~$130 cad + tax equals $150 cad...
Not much different.

The store does not mark up anything.
The big 3 do.

They had AEW wrestling for like $60 usd while it was $200 online.

Distributors here never discount hockey.

As expected, not a great checklist. I know Jack Lafontaine personally, so I'll get some of his stuff, but much like last year Series 2 will almost certainly be the better buy.

Very, VERY curious what happens next year with Connor Bedard. If they aren't able to get 2023 Draft guys into 2023-24 Series 1, Series 2 is going to be the next big product like 05-06 and 15-16 Series 1.

Are people even going to pay $100 for any of these yg's to start?

No point in opening boxes if not...

Going to likely be one of those scenarios where it may be worth it to just go ahead and pre-order some of S1 if you can get it at a decent price even if he ends up being held back for S2. Wouldn't want to skip pre-orders at a good price and he ends up being included and you have to get in at a much higher price.

prospect guides liked quinn, mcbain, schneider as well at some point but this feels like an AHL++ set. I'm sure it will sell well in minnesota and buffalo. Upper deck was probably hoping Wright went to the Canadiens and was going to start day 1.

Sounds like I'll wait for discounted retail boxes a few months after release.

By the time S2 is released he might be 240 lbs and in Lafreniere bust territory.
