Default records that will probably never be broken

What are some records that you dont think will ever be broken? For me i think that vince coleman s 110 stolen bases as a rookie wont ever be touched

Don't feel confident about many, never know....rules can and will be changed.

Career complete games, most wins in a season, and ones like those are better than most due to money concerns.

I can't see Cal Ripken Jr's consecutive games played streak of 2,632 ever getting touched with the crackdown on peds and all the other now banned performance enhancers

Easily Cal's Iron Man streak. With the way managing/strategy has changed, there's no way that would ever happen again imo.

I usually don't think anything will *never* be broken, but this is one that is truly amazing and I doubt will ever be touched

I'd say Cal's record has more of a shot at being broken than these two.

Freddie Freeman was out of the lineup tonight, after 200 and something consecutive and he was the league leader for active players. The new league leader is Kyle Seager with 190 something. Cal's record will never be touched

Dimaggio's hit streak record. That is amazing. It's interesting because you'd think it is feasible someone could do it. It'd only 1 hit a game, 56 times. Good hitters hit close to 200 hits a year, so there certainly seems to be an opportunity, but that has been a record for a very long time.

This. There are some people who believe we may not see another 300 game winner in a very long time, let alone a 400 or even 500 game winner.

Wins and losses I agree with, games started may be achievable. I believe in the future (I am not sure how far) we very would could see major league teams use more relief and allow their starters to go many fewer innings, resulting in allowing the best pitcher to make more starts. This would also force them to do away with wins forever.

Definitely a good thought. Especially with how many people are throwing as hard as they do along with Tommy John becoming more and more common by the year. I could see a team in the future having pitchers start 4 or 5 innings and have someone come in to close 4 or 5.

Nolan Ryan's 7 no hitters would be tough to beat. You gotta think Rickey Henderson's steals record would be tough to beat with how little players steal bases these days. Pretty impressive in every way.

Records that aren't safe to me are saves and any other record associated with relief pitchers. Teams continue to go to bullpens more and more these days.

Nolan Ryan for no hitters and most likely strikeouts as well seeing as how pitchers throw fewer pitches than guys like Ryan and Carlton

Matched probably, but I don't think we'll see 3 consecutive no-hitters.

No never going to happen.

Let's say your thought comes through and a guy starts fifty games a year. He would need to do that for 16 years and would still need a few more starts.

Not happening.
