We dont know anything. I can see that they use Ncaa NIL deal to get around having the 5 player rule. if they release this year. thats what i belive leaf and wild do, to have more than 5 players

When Fanatics takes over, and Topps chrome starts printing licensed product, will previous years Prizm value go down?

No, because they will still contain rookie cards for players that topps does not have.

The last 4 years of chrome football, 2012-2015, just doesn’t sell as well as the years prior. 2012 is the first year of Prizm.

The regular silver rookies go for $20+ when most other products they go for $1-$3.

I think this is the answer.

Once Prizm is no longer the top dog, prices will decline to some extent.

I remember in 2014, we had the 1-2-3-4 punch of Topps Chrome Football, Bowman Chrome Football, Platinum Chrome and Prizm Football. Spectra and Select also had Prizm cards in it if we want to get technical.

Chrome cards were also inserted into regular Bowman Football, although those cards had airbrushed team logos and uniforms.

Personally, I love Bowman Chrome and Platinum Chrome from that year.

What a time that was!

How did I forget to mention Topps Finest? 2014 Finest was smooth as butter. Unfortunately, they botched Aaron Donald's Finest rookie.

I like the last year of finest but they butchered the last chrome in 2015.

Many folks bought during the pandemic peak - it'll be a while before they're willing to take a loss, bro.

With time, most players become less relevant in the hobby, anyways.

I miss Finest when the cards still had texture. I see Topps Finest baseball every year, and it's all smooth. There is a huge difference between 2010/11 football, for example, and modern Topps Finest baseball.

And yeah, of all players to let something slip...it had to be Aaron Donald...at a time when the alternative was a combine picture on the Chrome card.

If I understand the NFLPA contract - and I gladly admit there is a huge chance I don't - then they can put up to 6 current players into the set.
