Default Breakout player of 2025??

I've been wondering the last few weeks who will be this years breakout star?? We had bobby witt last year. Who will it be this year?
I would love to hear everyone's thought.

As a Ranger fan, keep your eye on Wyatt Langford.

Langford is who I’m thinking, too.

If Hunter Greene can stay healthy to make 33 starts, he has that kind of potential on the mound.

Gunnar already broke out this past season, he’s not quite a full-blown hobby star, nor has he reached his on-field potential. So, there might be a next level for him.

Other candidates:

Michael Harris II
Jackson Chourio
Masyn Winn
Mark Vientos
James Wood

If he could just stay healthy/

Royce Lewis

You do realize Witt went 30/49 and finished Top 10 in MVP the year prior, 2023 right?

Anyhow, I’ll say Michael Harris stays healthy and the pop he showed in Sept. carries over into 2025.

Matt McLain. I feel people have forgotten about him after missing the entire 2024 season.

Paul Skenes…Unfortunately he will need to have 6 breakout seasons this year just to live up to the hype of the moment.

Spencer Schwellenbach. I think he improves even more on his rookie season and surpasses the other Spencer in the rotation.

Also put me down for Jordan Walker if he's given a legit chance to work through slumps on a team that's not going anywhere anyhow otherwise just trade the guy.

Matt Olson rebounds from possibly the worst season of his career.

Jung Hoo Lee was playing well for the Giants last year before he tore his labrum.

Mackenzie Gore. He has had stretches of being dominant in his career and has improved every year.
