Default All-NBA Team Snubs

I get that the Phoenix Suns were a dumpster fire this year, but Kevin Durant not being named to any of the three all-NBA teams is ABSURD!!! He finished 6th in the league in scoring!

Am I right or wrong? Any other snubs?

Considering that Durant wasn't eligible because he missed too many games, I wouldn't call him a snub at all.

As it should have been as it is based on regular season and no Pacers had a season worthy of being considered one of the Top 15 players

More than a snub, because so many players missed the threshold, feels like a lot of players made it when they should have not. Mitchell 1st team? Harden 3rd team?

The results-based me wants to argue that point, but you right.

Hey now, among Cavs starters Mitchell finished

-5th in eFG%
-5th Offensive Rating
-3rd in Defensive Rating
-3rd in PER
-5th in TS%
-4th in Offensive Win Shares
-3rd in Defensive Win Shares
-4th in Win Shares
-4th in BPM
-3rd in VORP

And an added note: Among all players, finished 21st on the team in FG Added.

If that doesn't scream 1st Team All NBA, I don't now what does.

There aren't any snubs anymore in all NBA teams with the games limit because it puts players who don't belong on the teams to begin with.

Yup. It's still sad that professionals making hundreds of millions have to be incentivized even further to suit up, but that's where we are.

The other thing, and I know this was true with Nembhard and Nesmith, who at casual glance I expected to land somewhere on All Defense. They neither qualified on the games played and minutes per game respectively.
