^ Hmmm. Neat cards, but no creator autographs, comic cuts or sketch cards ... I guess these are TV-material only and don't have access to the whole comic universe.

Is the comic relic card shown a comic cut card?

Should be - "single, dual, triple, quad and jumbo cards featuring pieces of original Invincible books."

The sell sheet also says "FEATURING AUTHENTIC RELICS FROM 1ST EDITION INVINCIBLE COMICS".

Looking forward to this, if I can get a box at MSRP. Bit overstuffed, and unsurprising they don't have real autos since the actors are mostly actual celebrities. Coulda had sketches though.

Since I'm unable to attend, I'm in on some 5 case group breaks at SDCC (the bloodspatter promos and jumbo relics drove that decision), as well as some personal cases being shipped to me.

What an absolute WASTE of the license

The voice cast of the show is one of the most stacked voice casts ever and you aren’t doing autographs?

Instead they are following the Disney chrome trend and doing “character” autographs

And the Disney Chrome sets sell like crazy. Why pay talent fees when you don't have to?

Although, admittedly, Invincible is an infinitely harder sell than Disney. Voice actor autos would be a huge boost here.

Yeah……Disney just has a nearly 100 year history to build off of

This is truly a waste. Could have been an amazing set with voice actor autos and sketches. But pretty much everything Keepsake has put out has been horrible. It’s like they are trying to make bad sets

Their entire budget for this set consists of the license, production costs, and a single low grade 1st edition comic that they cut up lol

Well look who’s producing it. The same company making relics out of old newspapers.

I agree with the points above about the voice actor miss, though it doesn't really bother me because $60/box seemed really reasonable to me...especially when most new releases are $100+ and offering a lot of the same types of inserts (facsimile autos, comic relics) that are appearing here. I do think the addition of hand-drawn animation art from Season 1 is a nice touch, but there are no odds on those. And there will be releases of this in other formats, according to Keepsake (Super Break). There are other 1/1 parallels on the checklist (Ice, Fire, Spark), but those will appear in those other formats. I wonder if the First Edition cards will be denoted as such.

Yeah fine with no real autos at this price. Would be 2-3x the price if they had real autos in boxes.

Watched a couple boxes ripped and most of the comic relics are either too small to actually look cool or feature the gutters/blank space between panels. Disappointing and lazy work as usual by keepsake

Collation issues possibly too, ugh. The first box just has two relics and a die-cut, the second has a bunch of numbered stuff.

Tough crowd. Foils looked good and plentiful. Some of the inserts looked really cool. Relics without gutters should demand a premium. I'm looking forward to seeing the breaks from SDCC. My older nephews are already asking for any Omni-Man cards I pull/hit.

No Autographs and No Sketch cards.

But what do you expect from a "product" made by "Super Break". They aren't card manufacturers and have only ever existed to do the bare minimum to make the most money with their repack products.

At least they're pretending that their facsimiles are "Signature" cards though.

No. Just no.

Celebrity signatures are not hard to obtain. It wasn't hard for Family Guy, Rick & Morty, X-Men, Wolverine, Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp), Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, and the list goes on and on and on. Each had all of the top Superstars.

The problem is that they licensed to Super Break who has no idea what they are doing, and are making extremely cheap products to make the most money possible. Firmly disagree with the "coulda gotten sketches though" too. They don't have any relationship with artists. They aren't card manufacturers any more than the random guys making customs.

If Skybound licensed to Cryptozoic again like they did with The Walking Dead, getting the voice actors to sign would've been an actual walk in the park. Far easier than it was for The Walking Dead cast. All of these voice actors are super attainable, especially around the scheduling of their voice acting sessions at Skybounds studio.

This has to be the most disappointing Non Sport product ever made. Skybound got suckered in.

Can't help but laugh that the sell sheet showed CGC graded books that that they cut up. Like the fact they were CGC graded previously does anything.

The whole release is completely tone deaf.

Think the point you're missing here is INVINCIBLE is super popular. It's better than/outsells The Walking Dead by a wide margin. It's huge. Your older nephew is in the same group as countless amounts of others who want INVINCIBLE cards. That is what is so bad about this. Instead of getting quality cards they are getting junk from Super Break. It isn't that these cards won't sell well, or aren't colorful, or aren't a card that the average card collector won't want or need.

It's just that they deserved much much more. This was a colossal waste of the license.
