Default eBay buyer to block - eugdeve_40

Guys name is Eugene from NY.

Bought 4 Project 2020 cards. Packed together tightly in an armalope slab mailer. Left 4 negative feedbacks for scratched cases because there was no paper between the one touches. First of all, he received pristine cards in cases that were scratched from the factory. The packaging was such that there could be no movement of the cases in the package, therefore not possible to add additional scratches to them. Secondly, he waited 7 days after receipt to leave the negs. And finally, not a single message from him before the negs. He’s a newer buyer with only 116 feedback, so he probably has no idea what he’s doing. Probably someone worth blocking to avoid potential headaches.

Yeah, new buyers just don't understand that this is the way that most of these cards arrived. I have a case disclaimer in my Project 2020 auctions.

Sent a slightly salty message to him.

Just saw the feedback left. As an FYI scratches on the cases were from Topps directly, not in shipping. It’s is well known that the one touches were in terrible condition directly from Topps. I didn’t think that was necessary to add to the item description, but I suppose I should have for you The shipment method was solid. The cards were very tightly packed and I guarantee didn’t cause additional scratching as they couldn’t move in the box. A message would have been greatly appreciated 7 days ago when the cards arrived and I could have explained that to you or offered to send you new pristine cards in maybe a less scratched one touch.

Honestly, to use your own language, you sound like a prick.

Always better to be upfront when listing cards than to assume that everyone has the same hobby knowledge you do.

^^^
OP is not the bad actor here. The person leaving 4 negs because of supposed scratched cases with zero communication to the seller prior to doing so, on the other hand…….

Thanks OP, blocked buyer

Come to the SFV in LA and experience what sounds like a war zone around the 4th with a house full of animals and then tell me your opinion then.

You honestly think a tongue in cheek comment was serious? Go troll elsewhere as you do.
