I thought it would be good to keep track of Marvel Topps Now and other related print to order (e.g. Topps Living, Throwbacks, etc) that might pop up on the Topps website from time to time.
1. 2025 Marvel Topps NOW® Captain America Brave New World - PR: 8039 $16 2. 2025 Marvel Topps NOW® Daredevil: Born Again - PR: 9019 $16 3. 2025 Marvel Topps NOW® Thunderbolts* - PR: 3042 $16 4. 2025 Marvel Topps NOW® Ironheart - PR: 1592 $16 Feel free to post news and/or images as they are announced in the thread below. It looks like they might be doing them for each MCU movie and tv show premiere. Hopefully, it eventually expands to include auto offerings like they do with some of their baseball Topps Now cards. I’m hoping there is 1 for Andor season 2. That’s probably the only other one for me this year. I bought BNW but passed on Daredevil

Pretty impressive numbers when you obviously can't chase autos like most Topps Now, the image variations are pretty sick though

Thunderbolts movie releases May 2, 2025, so that will likely be the next one of these. I agree numbers so far are strong on the first two factoring in there were no autos. If they dangle an auto or two for Thunderbolts, it will be interesting to see how much the sales increase.

Topps Now Thunderbolts is up now through May 5. Unfortunately, no auto chance and card itself is a bit of a yawner…

Put it in a case and sell it for 15 times its worth!
I mean just look at inserts of Star Wars Chrome Black 24 to Star Wars Chrome Black 23....people fall for it too

Print run of Thundebolts was pretty small compared to the first two Marvel Topps Now…

The first marvel card Captain America base can be found for $3-$5+shipping from a handful of sellers on ebay. Not a great sign. Even the Throwback Thursday Star Wars cards maintain better value and they were far cheaper and easier to store. |

I didn’t get any of the Project cards during peak COVID but have been collecting them (mostly for cheap) on COMC with credit. A lot of cool stuff in those Project sets. And, for now at least, space isn’t an issue since I haven’t sent any home beyond the handful I won on eBay.
EDIT: here is one of my faves… ![]() Last edited by finfangfan; 05-07-2025 at 10:01 AM. |

I think Daniel Jacob Horine (Pop Fly) in Project 100 should also be considered for favorite artwork. Those J-Rod, Ohtani & Gore cards are so good. |

Anyway, as far as parallels I counted 266 which means each card has a 266/5507 = 4.83% chance to get a "hit". I find it's easier to think about this as "what are the odds I don't get a hit?" and that value is 1-0.0483 = 0.9516 and now we can say "what are the odds that twenty cards get no hits?" and that is (0.9516)^20 or, on average, about a third of the 20 packs will have no parallels given true random distribution -- the other two thirds will. I understand that my math isn't 100% accurate (each "miss" removes one card from the remaining) but it is close enough without getting into factorials in fractions. Google refuses to compute those for me and I'm not going to type them out. |

I thought the print run would have been double as well due to the inclusion of an auto hit.

In MLB anyway, the expected value increase doesn't even come close to the increase in cost per card at the different levels. In my opinion, Topps is really abusing collectors and printing money on the "LOOK FOR" Topps Now offerings. I'm sure they'll milk that until it's completely dead anyway. Saves me a lot of money. |
