Once dookies, always dookies.

It’s a draw.

And it won’t be close when you bump this in 5 years

Also why did you ignore rebounds? They are close so not a major difference similar to assists but Flagg does lead there

Flagg. I hope he has a somewhat muted rookie year to give an opportunity for stocking up.

Flagg has the higher ceiling. He's the youngest player in the league, so I don't expect him to really start showing who he is on a consistent basis until year 3.

Knueppel looks far better out there than anyone expected. We know he can shoot. I was concerned whether he could create his own shots and get to the rack in the NBA. From what I have seen so far, he does it with ease. He seems to use his body to create space really well, too. I think he can easily bump up his assist totals while staying around 6 to 8 boards a game.

Both really good players.

I literally drive past Kon's childhood home and high school every day when I go to work.

Cooper. He's 18. The difference between 18 & 20 in league terms is massive.

There's a reason Kobe came off the bench his first two years.

The current adversity will pay long-term dividends.

Agreed

It's the equivalent of a 16 year old hitting .250 in single A ball

Doesn't look impressive on the surface, but the age of the player compared to their competition matters a lot

Yeah it’s Flagg for sure. Had 35 last night and is the youngest in the league. In five years this question will be laughable.

What's his three-point game like, though? He was 0-3 from the three-point line in his 35-point game. Not many players can excel in the modern NBA without having a good three-point game -- Giannis being one of the few exceptions.

It’ll come, I’m sure that aspect of his game will get a ton of offseason focus and will develop. The two years age difference between him and Kon is huge when you’re talking about an 18 year old. I imagine by 2027-28 his 3 point shot will be a lot better than where it is now.
