2012 Goodwin Champions 1 Box - I got a Bug

First time ever opening this product, and I must say I am hooked. I love the design of the base cards and the awesome subjects they have in the set.

Hits were:

Reggie Golden Auto
Hakeem Olajuwon Relic
Sonya Thomas Relic - Sweet 4 Color Swatch

And the biggie at least I think it is, not sure what the odds of pulling one is.

I already put it on Ebay...It would be a cool card to have in my collection, but I might just buy one of the redeemed ones once they make it to the marketplace.

Is it similar to Allen & Ginter?

I pulled a bug card last year out of 3 packs. I sold it for around 180. They are awesome cards!!

It's like an acetate surface on both sides with the bug in the middle. There's a nice frame around it. They are beautiful in person--I really thought about keeping them, but I decided to sell since that was my intention when I bought the redemptions.

If you're talking base cards, they're matte finish, and perfect for TTM. If you're talking the bug cards, then I'd be curious where you find addresses

And if you send me a list of wants, I'll send them to you when I'm done opening my case.

LOL! Yeah I was talking about the base cards. I agree that finding someone to sign the bug cards might be a bit of an issue.

I am only looking for a 8 or 10 cards, I will PM a list.

Along with a Dual Auto of the Barker Track Sisters
Lacrosse dude Relic (ugh)
Bo Jackson Relic
Entomology.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no identifying marks on the entomology card at all, do we only know which card we get once we scratch and redeem?

I know there are the regular sized bug cards, as well as specimen cards that are 4x6 and apparently 5x7 as well?

Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Congrats to OP for the bug card!

After you redeem you get whatever UD sends you -

Are you part of their Diamond club?? If you are you will get better bug cards...

I had a couple that were also some smaller than 4x6 (3x4, maybe).

No way to tell what you get until they arrive. They break them out by groups and post the odds usually right as they start sending them out.

There are 2.5 x 3.5, 4 x 6, and 5 x 7. Classes range from A-E. A being a 1:44 chance, B 1:16, C 1:7, D 1:4, and E 1:2. Overall chance of getting an Entomology card is 1:683, or about one every 2 cases. The odds per Entomology class are the odds your redemption will unlock that class of bug. There are only 2 A class bugs, the Golden Honey Bee and the Blonde Malaysian Spider.
