Default I Wish My Target Was Like Everyone Else's. :(

Went to Target because some people on here were talking about Ginter possibly being released early. Went to mine and no such luck. Got me thinking about everything else I haven't seen yet at my Target. I have dreams about a magical Target just like Houdini's where he kills a pack-molester with his pack ripping unsearching hands of doom then takes home the packs the pack-molester found and give them away to puppies and kittens (or list them in my eBay store... whichever is more convenient...). I haven't even busted a local pack searcher yet!! No 2013 Platinum, outside of score no 2013 football products either, no 2012-13 basketball products and no early jump on 2013 A&G. POR QUE?!?!?!? Let me know if your Target is the same.

Yeah...last week I drove two three Targets looking for Platinum and came up empty. Also a Wal-Mart, which has terrible card selection in Chicago from what I've seen. Tried on Monday and Tuesday, and then back to two of them on Thursday and got nothing. When I was living at Purdue the Targets/WalMarts/Meijers' were a LOT better about getting in new product.

The south side Targets are probably filled with Bowman Platinum and A&G right now, but I'm not going there...

I'm pretty happy with my local Target. No pack searchers or searched packs in sight. The card lane is a little messy but then again every lane/aisle in Target is.
They never have anything early but they do have things on time. You have to dig through some of the old stuff though. It took me a good 10 minutes to find some packs of Platinum the other day.

Gah You had my full attention until you said Purdue (IU student here). ;p
Yeah I was going to hit up Meijer and Wal-Mart to see if they had anything (maybe head back to Target later this evening). Who knows.

I declare your Target unreal and a dreamland at best. You should get that checked out .
Lol I don't live in an incredibly highly populated area (10 minutes outside of Louisville). Maybe the distributers are best about those areas first.

My 2 Targets are terrible. Go in usually on the weekends because it's about a 30-minute drive. All of the packs have been put in the box sideways. I've never caught a pack searcher, but I believe there might be one because of the way the packs are in the box.

As for my local Wal-Mart, about 2-3 minute drive. Go there every couple of days. Finally got hanger packs of 2013 Platinum Thursday. They had not been there prior. In fact, I got my hobby box on Tuesday, 2 days head of the retail packs.

The lady that stocks comes about once every 6 weeks it seems to restock the shelves. I've started buying my packs from other places (my distributor, ebay, a couple of sites here and there, etc.).

I scored some BP at target today in Texas. Hit a green auto of O'Neil guy. At least he is a Yankee. Also hit a red refractor of a Ranger prospect. These were rack packs. Red refractor are like 1:1650 i believe. Had a buxton in one of the purple refractor packs

My target will have A & G in about a month! Just like every other product!

Target has almost nothing to do with it. They get shipments from beckett (not the graders but the suppliers) and they sit in large boxes that are sealed with yellow tape (sports) or red tape (pokemon/Yu gi Oh). Most of the time target puts these boxes in the store room and they sit until the rep comes and stocks the shelves. Sometimes, a target employee puts them out and those can actually hit the shelves BEFORE they are supposed to. Sometimes you can go and these large boxes are sitting out next to the card aisle. In this case you can open them up and partake if you feel bold. Here in FL, the rep comes and stocks on Fridays. There should be a particular day when your targets are stocked. I wish target would realize that the difference in stocking on a Monday versus a Friday can sometime be the difference between selling a lot of product and selling none. Come this Friday when Ginter will most likely hit here, people will have already blown their money on retail. Keep your eyes peeled for those big boxes!

One Target here had Platinum last Tuesday, the other has nothing. All the Wal-Marts got Platinum Friday.

If you're up north ever, the Glenview Target is generally pretty good. I might be the only person who buys blasters there.

I hate to rub it in but my Target is flush with Ginter racks and blasters but I'm waiting for hobby(so much really good stuff is hobby exclusive) I don't want to bother with retail, it's bad enough I'll be buying 8-12 hobby boxes on Wednesday morning.
