Default Why no love for Peter O'Brien?

Has 17 homeruns this year and has been tearing up AA

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The only real answer is because of his age. People expect college bats to enter the minors at higher levels as he moves up you will hear more as long as the bat stays potent.

I posed this same question

http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/b...er-obrien.html

I truly think the Yankees are mishandling him

23 years old and he has 4 walks and 38 k's including 0/9 at AA. Expect a slump soon. Power is there but probably can't stick at catcher.

Theres been one or two buyers snagging up just about everything. I'm just about cleared out.

Picked up a lot since he is a UM guy. Doesn't really have a spot in NY, and if he's not able to catch, his defense at 3rd is at BEST average, likely below average.

I have his 2010 platinum triple auto superfractor. I know it's a triple auto and won't bring as much but still hardly any interest.

Matt Kardos ⚾ ‏@mattkardos
Reggie Jackson says that the ball O'Brien hit over the wall tonight is the hardest hit ball that he has ever seen in the minor leagues.

Also, many of the rarer ones i've moved in the past few weeks have been relisted at 5-10x the price I sold them at. Haven't seen any re-sell yet, not that that's a surprise.

I plan on buying some stuff back in the next 6-12 months if his prices revert, but who knows with a Yankee prospect

If he can figure out third base, or right field, he has a future in ny

2010 bowman platinum. Pulled his relic auto out of it. If anyone collects him, there's a superfractor auto on ebay(not mine).

He is a catcher

Posey is the only catcher in the past 5 years to hold some decent value in Bowman

You figure with the issues the Yanks have with injuries and just un productivity , they can find a spot for a hot bat.

As everyone on here knows I disagree that older prospects can't be good buys but yea he's not one of my guys except for that he's a Yankee He has been flying through each league though with no more than like 50-60 games in each and clearly AA isn't much of a problem for him.

With the way he is hitting there has to be a place NY can put him or trade him. He would fit with any AL team at DH
