sources: jason hammel is close to a deal to return to the chicago cubs

Good deal. Hammel working with Bosio again should be a win/win.

I'm glad this deal got done. He was very solid for the Cubs until he was traded. Hopefully he bounces back to where he was when he left.

2 years, 18m with 2m buy out, with club option for 10m.

I think thats a pretty decent deal for the Cubs.

Well I guess we can trade him away again once we are 20 games out of first at the All-Star Break.
