Default GS vs SA

Should be a good one, but I think in the end, we're going to see why San Antonio is San Antonio...and still the team to beat in the West. They're healthy now, rested...and look to be firing on all cylinders.

As always, GS is extremely limited if one of the 2 splash brothers is contained.

Pop knows how to properly use Green and Leonard to guard Curry. They are two of the most underrated defenders in the NBA.

Its so tough to play in San Antonio...I watched them play back in 1999 and that place was electric

I think Kawhi may be one of the few players that could notch a quadruple double

That is what Curry feels like when the Spurs burn the Warriors.

As a Cavs fan, this worries me. I'd rather see the Warriors in the finals than the Spurs.

Are Division winners given a free pass to homecourt in the playoffs? Why is Portland ahead of the Spurs and Clippers?

Really shouldn't matter since the Cavs will be fishing when the Finals start.

Yes, a division winner is automatically in the top 4. It's ridiculous.

Haha, a team from the West moving to the East for the playoffs?

As long as San Antonio isn't the #4/#5 seed. If the Spurs finish #6 or work their way up to #2/#3, the Warriors wouldn't play them until the WCF with the Spurs needing to win at least 1 in Oakland and possibly all 3 in San Antonio. Warriors may not matchup well with the Spurs, but they are positioned well vs everybody else. Spurs are going to have a grinder match up with Memphis or the Clippers (will CP3 to take out Parker's knees?), and Houston won't be a walk if Harden is getting the whistle cause the NBA wants to extend the series. A Spurs-Warriors WCF is basically the real Finals.

I agree on the last point. I just don't think anyone has a realistic shot to take out the spurs in the west. They are simply too deep and well coached. I love the job that Kerr has done in only his first year, but I think he's going to get outclassed if they meet up with SA. So long as Kawhi, Timmy, and Parker stay healthy, it's going to be a chore and a half to take them out. Not to mention Danny Green has been having some monster games this year.

Looks like the machine is well oiled for the playoffs.

GS got their first taste of what the spurs are capable of this time of the year, they had no clue what hit them today. Kerr a good coach? Give me a break. More like blessed.

Spurs passing today was sweet to watch, chemistry like that takes years.
