I was big fan of his up through his promotion 2 years ago and even through his struggles last year, but he just can't seem to figure it out up here and it's obvious that the coaching staff is not happy with him at all. It's too bad that he lost his spot due to being injured, but it would have only been a matter of time before a move would have been made. Good for Eddie to keep plugging away to keep a roster spot, hopefully he keeps it up.

I'd agree. We have a couple guys with big power threats (Vargas, Arcia), but they haven't been able to put together good at bats and stop chasing bad pitches. A true DH that is a power threat but also hits a lot of doubles and has a decent BA would be a huge addition to the team. More on Arcia below

I'm with Athey on Arcia. You rarely ever see any Twins throw their bat, flip their helmet, etc after a strikeout. Except for Arcia. Feels like he does that nearly all the time he strikes out! That's not Twins class.

He does need to work on his plate discipline as well. Seen him chase wayyyyy too many awful pitches this year. We'll need him out in right whenever Torii retires, but we need him to become a better hitter as well. Power threat isn't helpful when he strikes out 50 times between home runs.

This entire series the Twins have looked sloppy all together. I don't know if they are feeling pressure from how they performed last month or if we are crashing back down to reality. I hope they are just feeling a little pressure and get back on the winning track ASAP

This is a big series early on, I just don't see us recouping if we get swept again. Also, the Royals vs Cardinals series should be great to watch. Go Cards!
