When it's all said and done (win or loss), I feel blessed to having been here at a 3hr game from A-Rod. All seen from right behind home.

Sorry, I'm a baseball fan, and believe it or not, A-Rod is top 5 when he hangs them up, IMO.

Yes. If he finished his career like he is now (healthy, still mad, mad power), Top-5 easily and will dwarf others below him in comparison.

Mantle!!?? Please!!! He'd a story of what could have been if he didn't get hurt and take care of his body! No one in their right mind would say Mantle finished Top-5 alone, other than talent. He didn't have the numbers lime A-Rod, Bonds etc, etc. And didn't come close.

Perhaps Mantle wasn't the best example, but I realllllly don't think Aroid comes close to top 5 of all time, regardless of who your time 5 are. But, that's not a discussion I want to have in this thread. We must keep the filth of the Yankees out of this thread
