Side note, Mauer breaking up Kluber's no-no attempt had to have been at least Mauer's 5th time breaking up a perfecto/no-no in his career after the 6th inning. That's pretty amazing.

I dunno, if he was back around 3rd, ball would have taken a split second longer to get to him and they may not have had him

He's was 5+ feet in front of the bag, ball obviously travels significantly faster than the runner, easily would have had the tag in time to allow it to travel more for better positioning. Was almost cut off in front too much. He almost slid right under past it.
