Woulda been nice to get a few more runs there... Still, good to see a solid knock from Mauer. That's classic Joe

I really don't care at this point anyway. I think I'm just going to sell off my entire collection and be done with it.

Collecting just isn't as fun as it used to be anymore.

That makes less sense than the safe call that just happens

How does it not make sense? Collecting has become stale for me lately and I enjoyed watching Sale and Rodon a lot more when I had no money invested in them.

Six scoreless for Gibson.

Why would you do that? He's still a great pitcher with tons of potential.

From your last post, you made it sound like you were going to stop collecting Sale because he won't win the Cy Young

Still, stop thinking of cards as an investment. Do it for fun, it'll be 1000 times more enjoyable

Okay, now I can understand this. Actually makes perfect sense which is why I don't put a lot of money in Braves players anymore. I get too irritated when they go on cold streaks.

I was just about to say I was against putting Gibson back out there in the 7th inning but he struck out the first batter so...

And then he gives up another hit because of lazy defense...

Okay he is out now.

Nice bounceback game from the Twins today to take the series. Now sitting .5 games back from the Rangers and the 2nd WC slot, but looking like the Rangers will win again today. Still, all we can do is keep winning and hope everything else falls into place

Thanks for the advice. I do enjoy collecting Sale a lot, but I am so hot and cold with it. I want to buy everything I can when he does well, and I want to sell everything when he does bad. I legitimately get in a pissy mood when he does poorly and that's kind of silly honestly.

I think I should just enjoy him for he what he is and not worry about the values of the cards. I think I got most of them for good deals anyway, so I could probably break even at the very least if I had to sell them.

I was the exact same way with my Alex Wood collection. Thankfully him being traded made my decision much easier.

That's pitching. Sale is special, I've bought a few of his stuff cause they are so cheap. But, like you said, your happiness trumps all and I hope you follow yours.

Guys will go through slumps etc. But like I said before, Sale is a very very special talent and has bounced back always after his next start after he faced the Twins.
